This forum, the Sports Medicine Blog prototype, has been created for you to find and share reliable information quickly and efficiently. Athletic individuals throughout the Atlanta Metro Area, and indeed, the world, come here for cutting edge information on Sports Medicine. You can interact with other athletes, share tips and advice, or interact with Harvard trained physicians, with questions you may have related to sports medicine. We are not rendering medical care, but can point you to relevant information. This site is not affiliated with Harvard University. All physician advisors and consultants to Atlanta's Athletes Online are Harvard trained doctors.

We are a RESOURCE. We are INFORMATION. The focus here is to facilitate an Online Community of Patient-to-Patient interaction, supplemented with TRUSTWORTHY information by Doctors who are experts in their fields.
We Strive to provide patients the same level of education and service in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine that we would want for ourselves. Atlanta's Athletes Online is the vanguard of Sports Medicine in Atlanta. Patients from the Atlanta metro area and surrounding regions come here to interact with each other and learn Sports Medicine from the doctors directly. Our intention is to bring you the state-of-the art of what modern Sports Medicine has to offer in Atlanta. We specialize in teaching about and caring for disorders affecting the knee (eg. Anterior Cruciate Ligament {ACL tear} or Meniscus tear) or shoulder (eg rotator cuff or cartilage).

Who We Are
This RESOURCE OF TRUSTWORTHY INFORMATION is facilitated by Atlanta Sports Medicine physician Dr. Jon Hyman.
Dr. Hyman is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and completed Advanced Fellowship Training accredited by the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He specializes in cutting edge Sports Medicine, bringing you the training and expertise from two of the most prolific Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine training institutions in the world: Harvard University Medical School & Orthopaedics and H.S.S.: the Hospital for Special Surgery. Additionally, Dr. Hyman spent years providing Orthopaedic services at Emory University, in Atlanta.
