Hi Dr. Hyman!
How are you? I hope you are doing well! I just wanted to e-mail you and give you an update on my current status. My knee is doing great and holding up well! I've pretty much gained all my strength back and my speed.
I made it through my college season and had a great year hitting .413- which is mostly a credit to my speed- not my actual hitting ability. Additionally, I am now playing professional softball for the Michigan Ice and starting at third base. My knee feels great and I'm playing moderately well (aside from the nerves of playing pro). Thank you so much for everything! I really appreciate all your work!

| Testimonial after ACL reconstruction |
Hello Dr. Hyman!
How are you? I hope you are doing well! My knee is doing well and I'm very comfortable playing now. We're currently 6-3 and now on our spring break tourney in
motion. Also- I'm experiencing some bruising from it. Our trainers are going to try to have the Donjoy rep come and take a look at it- but I'm not sure how long it will take. My question is- is it absolutely necessary for me to play with it? If not, do I have to play with it the entire season? Am I at a huge risk if I play without it? Please let me know.
Thanks!
Have a great day! M.E.
----I'm glad your ACL reconstruction is doing well. At this point the brace may be doing more harm than good. Your muscles were so strong and fully recovered, that I think you'll be fine without it.

Last Friday morning you did the surgery on both knees for torn meniscus. I am having little to no pain and have good mobility and flexibility and little to no swelling. I have been able to walk unassisted by crutches since Sunday. I am elevating my legs when I sit and continuing to ice them twice a day. GR
