September, 2009. I am writing to thank you again for fixing my knee pain. Two weeks ago, my then fiancé (now husband) and I left for Mexico to have our wedding in Puerto Vallarta. For a week we spent time walking the beach, swimming in the waves, and walking through the town. At the end of the week I walked down the aisle with a smile on my face and no pain whatsoever. From there we went to San Francisco and the wine country. We traveled the city by trolley which meant walking several San Francisco hills (they are either straight up or straight down). Before my surgery, I’d take one look at those hills and call a cab before negotiating the steepness. Instead, I got to see the city on foot and enjoy every minute of our honeymoon. When I came to you, I couldn’t spend 30 minutes walking at the mall without knee pain. It’s amazing how much the surgery has improved my quality of life. Thank you so much giving me the opportunity to enjoy life without pain! D.R.
August 2009. Dr. Hyman and Kelly, When I tore my rotator cuff last year I wanted to find the best surgeon around to work on me. 10 years earlier I had knee surgery after doing no research into who would do it. To this day that knee has problems. So, this time I spent a lot of time on it. I saw that the U.S. News and World Report listed a certain hospital as the best at rotator cuff surgery, so I looked for someone in my area that may have learned in that arena. I found Dr. Jon Hyman. Dr. Hyman and Kelly were extremely nice and I felt nothing but confidence in them doing my surgery. Less than a year after having my rotator cuff repaired by Dr. Hyman my shoulder is better than the one that wasn’t injured. The recovery time was so fast my wife thinks I have some kind of super healing power. Unfortunately a few months later my knee, not the one I had worked on before, was in pain. I went to Dr. Hyman and Kelly again. Now less than 6 months after having them fix my knee I’m feeling great. These guys are AMAZING!!! - H.J.
D. Rachel in her own words:
May 2009
Dr. Hyman and Kelly! Thank you so very much for accepting me into your practice as a patient. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I look forward to seeing you in July, and at that time maybe you can allow me to return to some form of a running program. I am following the exercise program that the therapist has recommended and hopefully that will put me on the road to a full recovery. I realize that is probably nine months into the future but at my age time passes quickly. GJ
April 2009.
Dr. Hyman, I know from experience in customer service that people usually have negative things to say and don't give enough positive feedback. I love to break the cycle.
I want to sincerely thank you for the time and attention you gave to me in getting my shoulder back in working order. You listened to me and made me feel unhurried in my visits. Before I came to you, I was told I needed surgery, and you helped me prove them wrong!
It was hard work, but I really felt like we were on the same team in nursing this shoulder back to health. Having a doctor who took a personal interest in my problem made all the difference for me. Thank you so much.

January 2009, Dr. Hyman, Kelly and Staff,
Please let me take the time to thank each of you for everything you did for me before, during and after my hip surgery. I don't know of any other doctor, nurse or staff that is so caring and compassionate about their patients and their well being. You guys deserve such high praise.
As I was informed sometime back, I would be refunded some of my pre-payment for surgery, and that in fact was the case. I did receive my refund as promised. In the past, I have been promised that same information from other doctors, nurses or staff, but they always found some way out of their promise. This is not the case with Dr. Hyman and his staff. Everything that was told to me, was the truth and nothing less. I admired each of you for your commitments and truthfulness.
If ever there comes a time that I require another orthopaedic procedure, Dr. Hyman; you and your staff will be my first option. I live many miles away from your office, but I don't mind traveling to such a wonderful doctor and staff.
Before, during and after my operation, I received such wonderful care from you and your staff. The office visits and even the telephone conversations were handled with sincere professionalism. My thanks to each of your for everything. May everyone inside and outside your office know that you and your staff are the best there is. I am pain free, thanks to all of you. If not for you and your staff, I might not be walking today.
Thank you and Bless you.
Sincerely, O.G.
