Atlanta Hip Arthroscopy - Harvard Specialist

Atlanta's only Hip Arthroscopy Center of Excellence provides the best state-of-the-art care with Advanced techniques.  You already know that Atlanta has many unique features that make it a great city.  You may not know, however, that Atlanta is home to the only Center for Hip Arthroscopy in the Region.  Dr. Jon Hyman, a Harvard-trained surgeon, is the Medical Director for the Center.  

Patient's used to travel outside of Georgia to receive advanced technique surgical procedures via hip arthroscopy.  However, since Dr. Hyman travelled the country to bring the techniques back to Georgia, and established this center of excellence, leaving town is no longer necessary. Patients outside of the U.S. please go here re: consultations.

Dr. Hyman's unique experience is reflecting in the fact that he is the only orthopaedic surgeon to have served as a team physician with the NBA Atlanta Hawks, the NFL Atlanta Falcons & the NHL Atlanta Thrashers. Dr. Hyman partnered with Emory Adventist Hospital to co-found the Hip Arthroscopy Center.  You can view the Fox 5 News broadcast on Hip Arthroscopy here.  In his role as Medical Director for the Center, Dr. Jon Hyman has taken a leadership role in Georgia in:

Here we perform primary hip arthroscopy and repeat hip arthroscopic surgery for some patient's who've had previous hip arthroscopy surgery.  We address some of the more complex problems including: labral tears, synovial chondromatosis, FAI (femoral acetabular impingement), synovitis, labral repair, osteoplasty for CAM and PINCER impingement, snapping hip / iliopsoas tendon, greater trochanteric bursitis, loose bodies and gluteus medius tendon tears, etc.
